Inu Yasha Wallpaper

Inu Yasha
InuYasha is a fictional character in the manga and anime series InuYasha created by Rumiko Takahashi as the hero and title character of the franchise. Inu means dog and Yasha means demon, so InuYasha literally translates to "dog demon". He is the love interest of the protagonist Kagome Higurashi.

Menomaru

Menomaru is a fictional character from the InuYasha anime appearing as the main villain of the first movie InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time. He is voiced by Seki Tomokazu in the Japanese version, and Vincent Gale in the English version.

Kagome

Kagome is a protagonist of this manga and anime series. Her grandfather is the keeper of Higurashi Shrine, a Shintō shrine near Tokyo. On her fifteenth birthday, she is pulled into the Bone Eater's Well by a centipede demon, called Mistress Centipede. This takes her back in time to the Sengoku period of feudal Japan.

Sesshomaru

Sesshomaru's mother is also an inu daiyokai like her deceased mate, the Inu no Taishou, and as such can transform into a giant dog demon as well as a more human appearance. Although Inu no Taishou sired a child with his human lover Izayoi, it is not indicative that it would have meant ending a relationship with Sesshomaru's mother as it was normality for those of power to have concubines at the time.

Sesshomaru

Sesshomaru is the yokai son of the powerful Inu no Taishou and another, yet unnamed inuyōkai known only as Sesshomaru's Mother.Since Inu no Taishou is considered to be a daiyōkai, Sesshomaru is a daiyōkai himself. In both the manga and the anime, he appears stoic and hard to read. He rarely smiles, and when he does, it is usually not a good thing; Jaken once begged Sesshomaru to beat him rather than to smile because it was Sesshomaru's smile that he feared most.

Asuka

Asuka are characters are from the anime/manga, InuYasha. They are two shikigami in the form of two young girls, appearing to be about Rin's age. They are mainly used as Kikyo's messengers, after Kikyo was slain at Mount Hakurei, by Naraku, and was unconscious, and close to her second death. They are also attendants for Kikyo's other shikigami, Saint Hijiri, who was just a puppet and container of Kikyo's soul. Kochō and Asuka are also capable of erecting and maintaining powerful barriers.

Koga

Koga is a yokai-wolf, and he is the leader of his tribe identified in the manga as The Eastern Wolf Pack. He first appeared in volume 14 of the manga and episode 35 in the anime.

Kirara

Kirara is a rarely-used feminine personal name. The kanji , "mica" or "isinglass," is made up of the characters for "cloud" and "mother," , and could also be pronounced "unmo" in addition to "kirara." It is interesting to note that the pronunciation "kirara" is similar to the Japanese sound effect "kirakira" used for something glittery, which is fitting to the appearance of mica.

Kagura

Kagura is a fictional character in the anime and manga series InuYasha. She is first seen in volume 15 of the manga and in episode 39 of the anime.

Jaken

Jaken is a small green yōkai who serves the powerful Lord Sesshomaru. Jaken is very loyal to him, primarily out of gratitude for once saving his life but also out of political ambition for himself. Despite this loyalty, Sesshomaru more often than not ignores Jaken's needs and wants. Jaken is not really a fighter, as he tries to avoid situations that might endanger him.

Ayame

Ayame is a female wolf demon and leader of the white wolf tribe who grew up in the mountains. She is the granddaughter of the wolf elder and leader. She has lived with him ever since her parents died. Later on, her tribe is attacked by demons, and she and Koga have to fight them off. This starts the Shichinintai saga.

Naraku

Naraku is the main antagonist in the anime and manga series InuYasha. He is directly responsible for the death of the character Kikyo and the seal placed on the series protagonist, InuYasha. He is also the cause of most of the troubles and problems facing the other major characters, making his destruction the overall focus of their quest due to their personal grudges with him.

Izayoi

Izayoi is a fictional character in the animanga InuYasha and the mother of the title character. While she remains unnamed in the animanga, the name Izayoi was given to her in third InuYasha movie where her character was also expanded.
